BDS (Lond) 2007
GDC No. 128666
Originally from Newport (the one in the South East of Wales!) I qualified from King’s College London in 2007 after which I returned to Wales to complete my Vocational Training in Caldicot. I then spent 3 years in mixed practice in Blackwood before moving on to split my time between practices in Cardiff and Barry where I have spent the last 7 years treating a very wide range of patients. I have an interest in general dentistry with a focus on trying to help patients maintain a good functioning dentition through prevention and timely intervention. I also enjoy helping patients to overcome their anxieties about dental treatment and have experience in many aspects of both routine and more complex care. In my spare time I have a keen interest in fitness and martial arts including holding a third-degree black belt in Kung Fu. As a new father my time has more recently become dedicated to my daughter which, along with being a keen landscape photographer, has been a major factor in my decision to move to Pembrokeshire.
BDS (Dundee) 1999
GDC No. 76411
Keith graduated from Dundee Dental School in 1999 and has been working in a mixed private practice for the last 19 years in highland Perthshire, Scotland. During this time Keith has worked across all aspects of general dentistry and has undertaken several post graduate courses and has developed a special interest in more advanced dentistry techniques including crowns, bridges and implants. Over the last 12 years Keith has been delivering facial aesthetic treatments to patients to help roll back the years with anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
Keith is moving to Wales with his wife, two sons and two spaniels and they are all very much looking forward to exploring the gorgeous countryside and becoming a beach family. He may even have to try paddle boarding!

Joanna grew up in Carmarthen before studying Dentistry at the University of Bristol. Graduating in 2019, she carried out foundation training in London.
During the COVID19 pandemic Joanna volunteered to work in an intensive care unit carrying out oral care for intubated patients and was subsequently published in the peer reviewed journal, Dental Update.
After postgraduate training Joanna went on to work in general practice, becoming a member of the College of General Dentistry, volunteering with the organisation 'Inspiring the Future' and developing a keen interest in both endodontics and oral surgery. Joanna's aim is to provide a calm and gentle experience of dental treatment for the patients of Capel Dental Practice.
Joanna speaks both English and Spanish and in her free time enjoys running, landscape photography and volunteering for a local charity.

DIPLOMA IN DENTAL NURSING LEVEL 3 QCF CITY & GUILDS 2016
GDC NO. 267910
I’ve been part of the team since September 2011. I began my nursing career in 1990 and qualified as a dental surgery assistant in 1992. In addition to this qualification I studied for an additional year and qualified as an Oral Health Educator in 1993. I am currently studying for a further qualification in dental radiography, and I am also keen to increase my knowledge of impression taking. I thoroughly enjoy my career as no two days are ever the same.
My hobbies include sea kayaking, cycling, walking the coastal paths and mountains. In the evening I enjoy relaxing by the log burner with a glass of red wine (or two) and a good book.
GDC no. 240298
I joined the team in October 2018. I have worked in dentistry for over 10 years and gained my skills and experience in an Implant referral practice in Scotland.
I re-located to West Wales and transferred within Portman Health Care to manage the practice here in Newport.
Prior to becoming part of the team in February 2017, I was a nursery teacher for 15 years. I am a friendly and approachable person and I take pride in my day to day tasks, always ensuring patients feel comfortable and relaxed.
I’m married with two sons who both play rugby for Scarlett’s Under 18’s, so my spare time is generally taken up with chauffeuring them to training and matches! I love family activities, but if there is any time left over, I also enjoy interior design.
I consider myself to be friendly, approachable and understanding. I am professional and take pride in my job keeping patients comfortable. I speak Welsh, English and conversational Spanish.
I have volunteered extensively with orphans and underprivileged children in Cambodia teaching them English, singing and hula hooping. When I volunteered in this third world country it changed my life and outlook, I feel passionate about helping others less fortunate than myself.
In my spare time I love to walk my best friend ‘Badger’! I also love books and films.
Originally from St Dogmeals but now live in Cilgerran with my three children.
I have been with Pembrokeshire Dental Care for 1 year and I really enjoy working with all the lovely patients and team.
My interests outside of work are cooking, gardening and socializing with friends.
