Associate Dental Surgeon
GDC No. 66899
I qualified in South Africa in 1988 and moved from my country of birth to Wales 15 years ago. I was always a city boy, but have grown to love the freedom and solitude that living in the country gives, so I suppose I am now a bona fide country boy! I have spent my whole career as a general dentist in private practice, and I have a keen interest in oral surgery and oral pathology.
My free time is spent with my family, I married Connie, my childhood sweetheart 21 years ago. We have two boys, Ryan and Tristan. When not in the surgery I can be found in my garden or I am ashamed to say in front of the television.
BDS (Lond) 2007
GDC No. 128666
Originally from Newport (the one in the South East of Wales!) I qualified from King’s College London in 2007 after which I returned to Wales to complete my Vocational Training in Caldicot. I then spent 3 years in mixed practice in Blackwood before moving on to split my time between practices in Cardiff and Barry where I have spent the last 7 years treating a very wide range of patients. I have an interest in general dentistry with a focus on trying to help patients maintain a good functioning dentition through prevention and timely intervention. I also enjoy helping patients to overcome their anxieties about dental treatment and have experience in many aspects of both routine and more complex care. In my spare time I have a keen interest in fitness and martial arts including holding a third-degree black belt in Kung Fu. As a new father my time has more recently become dedicated to my daughter which, along with being a keen landscape photographer, has been a major factor in my decision to move to Pembrokeshire.
Dip Dent Hygiene Wales 2003

I originate from Carmarthen, and trained and qualified in Cardiff in 2003. I have worked in private and NHS practices in Bristol, Chepstow and Swansea before returning to West Wales to settle with my family.
I am a Welsh speaker and in my spare time enjoy running, circuits, eating out and exploring the countryside with my family.
DIPLOMA IN DENTAL NURSING LEVEL 3 QCF CITY & GUILDS 2016
GDC NO. 267910
I’ve been part of the team since September 2011. I began my nursing career in 1990 and qualified as a dental surgery assistant in 1992. In addition to this qualification I studied for an additional year and qualified as an Oral Health Educator in 1993. I am currently studying for a further qualification in dental radiography, and I am also keen to increase my knowledge of impression taking. I thoroughly enjoy my career as no two days are ever the same.
My hobbies include sea kayaking, cycling, walking the coastal paths and mountains. In the evening I enjoy relaxing by the log burner with a glass of red wine (or two) and a good book.
NVQ L3 ORAL HEALTH CARE: DENTAL NURSING & INDP ASSES CITY & GUILDS 2010
GDC NO. 196711
I have been a part of the team for nearly 12 years, starting as a trainee dental nurse and completing my training here, qualifying in 2010. I enjoy working here because of the variety of patients we see which makes every day different.
I have two daughters who drive me crazy but I wouldn’t be without them! I enjoy baking and cooking during the week, and some ‘wine tasting’ on a weekend!
Trainee Dental Nurse
I am 19 years old and I am a trainee dental nurse.
I love working here as all the team are so easy to get on with, and I also enjoy meeting new patients on a day to day basis, this makes my job very exciting!
In my spare time I like to explore new places with my puppy, Skyler.
I have been part of the team since October 2015. Receptionists are the first point of contact for patients and visitors, and I pride myself on being friendly and approachable. As a previously nervous patient myself, I can understand why people need to feel welcome and at ease.
As a working mother and wife, I have very little free time but on the rare occasions I do, I enjoy nothing better than curling up with a good book.
Prior to becoming part of the team in February 2017, I was a nursery teacher for 15 years. I am a friendly and approachable person and I take pride in my day to day tasks, always ensuring patients feel comfortable and relaxed.
I’m married with two sons who both play rugby for Scarlett’s Under 18’s, so my spare time is generally taken up with chauffeuring them to training and matches! I love family activities, but if there is any time left over, I also enjoy interior design.
I consider myself to be friendly, approachable and understanding. I am professional and take pride in my job keeping patients comfortable. I speak Welsh, English and conversational Spanish.
I have volunteered extensively with orphans and underprivileged children in Cambodia teaching them English, singing and hula hooping. When I volunteered in this third world country it changed my life and outlook, I feel passionate about helping others less fortunate than myself.
In my spare time I love to walk my best friend ‘Badger’! I also love books and films.
